More beach camping for Sheri and the boys at San Elijo. I actually paddled out to get a few waves while I was there. I was successful in adding a shoulder burn to my farmer tan.
For Sheri's birthday I took her on a one night get away and we really enjoyed it. I surprised her with rose petals on the bed. We both agree that the steaks at The West Restaurant in Carlsbad are the best we've ever had.
We spent Labor Day weekend camping/Jeeping at Big Bear. I had been looking forward to this trip for months, so I was more than a little frustrated when I had THREE blow-outs on our trailer tires on the way there. Oh well, we over came and I think everyone had a fun weekend.
Caidan finally pet this grizzly bear, but refused to stick his head in the bear's mouth, even with my reassurance.
Ignorance is bliss I guess; Collin was ready to yank a tooth from that Griz.
I'm pretty sure getting to climb this cool oak tree was Caidan's favorite part of the trip.
